Flipkart’s tablet for review!
In the recent course of events Flipkart launched a tablet under its owned brand Digiflip, named as XT901. The featured Intel Atom processor and other specs of the device are promising and robust in its category.
The tablet sports a 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels. The display is bright and crisp and has good viewing angles as well. The tablet I powered by a 2GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor which has a promising and fluidic experience. The incredible processor is coupled up with 2GB of RAM which also can support graphic intense and resource consuming apps easily. The on board storage provided is of 16GB which can be expanded to up to 32GB by the help of micro SD card. It has a 5MP rear camera which captures decent shots in the daylight conditions. No flash could be a turn down for some users. The 2MP front facing camera is also good for selfies and video calls. On the connectivity side, the tablet features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for good browsing speeds. 3.5 mm jack has also been provided which supports all types of headphones and headsets. The tablet also a micro USB port for charging and data synchronization. The XT 901 also sports proximity sensor and accelerometer. The tablet is powered by a 6500mAh battery which can easily sustain the device for a da. If you consume lesser resources then it will last much longer. The XT 901 has Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for now but we can expect updates for the device soon.
As far the build quality and the performance of the tablet is concerned the tablet is definitely very good. The experience is very smooth without any sort of hiccups. The build quality of the tablet is very very robust and it can easily sustain a few accidental drops. The in hand feel of the tablet is superb. At the given price point the tablet is completely worth every penny. Users who are looking for reliability along with sturdiness can definitely go for it.
