HMD announces the new smartphone Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1


Nokia 5.1

HDM announced the new and updated version of its best-selling smartphone Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. The three new smartphones are Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 which were also updated Nokia India website for a short time. All the three mobiles got few specification and software upgrade, as they come with Android Go or One which makes them budget-friendly and easy to use the device.

The Nokia 2.1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch HD display, 8GB of internal storage, 4000mAh of battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Android Go. Nokia 2.1 sports an 8MP rear autofocus shooter and a 5MP front camera.

Nokia 5.1

The Nokia 3.1 comes with 5.2-inch HD+ display, MediaTek 6750 processor, 2990mAh of battery and Android 8.0 Oreo. It has two variants- one with 2GB + 16GB and the other with 3GB + 32GB. It also sports a 13MP autofocus camera at the rear and 8MP camera at front.

The Nokia 5.1 has a full metal body unlike the two made up of 6000 series aluminum. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P18 chipset with 2GB/3GB RAM. Again, it also has the same storage variant as the Nokia 3.1. It features a 5.5-inch FHD+ IPS display with 2.5 D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. Nokia 5.1 runs on Android Oreo, backed by 2970mAh of battery and sports a 16MP PDAF sensors at rear with Dual Tone Flash and an 8MP sensor for selfie.

All the three smartphones will be available to purchase from July onwards. The Indian pricing was displayed on Nokia India Website for a short time which was captured by Smartprix. The price are- Rs 12,499 for Nokia 5.1, Rs 9,499 for Nokia 3.1 and Rs 6,999 for Nokia 2.1. The information was removed shortly after the display. So there are pretty good chances that it can be changed.Nokia 5.1

  • Display: 5.2-inch HD+ display, 2.5D Cover Glass with Anti-FP coating, Corning Gorilla Glass
  • RAM and Memory: 2GB/3GBGB RAM with 16GB/32GB internal storage (Expandable)
  • Camera: 13MP autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and led flash/ 8MP fixed focus front camera with f/2.0
  • OS: Android 8.0 Oreo with Android One
  • SIM: Dual SIM
  • Connectivity: 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, microUSB (USB 2.0) OTG, NFC
  • Battery: 2990mAh

Nokia 5.1 Specifications are-
