Hp Business seriesHP has launched 8 new devices, services and network of partners work together to create solutions that are built for the way you work.

New tablets, 2-in-1devices, and notebook PCs running Microsoft Windows operating system, along with new tablets built on Google’s Android™ operating system, all feature built-in security and can be tailored to meet specific use-case requirements with a focus on embracing business mobility.

The main purpose was to build devices to mobilize the workforce

Here, let’s explore more about the devices:

HP Pro Slate 8 and HP Pro Slate 12: These two are android based tablets. The display size is 8-inch and 12-inch respectively. Powered by a quad core snapdragon processor, it is easy to access an view business documents and applications. Hp pro slate 8 reportedly is the first tablet with corning gorilla glass 4. The tablets are 8mm thing and very light in weight. Can be carried everywhere easily. Powerful computing with longer battery life.

HP Duet Pen:  Included with HP pro slate 8 and pro slate 12 is a pen which is a digital pen and can be used on both paper and the tablet. Interesting.  The pen is part of the HP Blended Reality Ecosystem, helping employees be more productive and create easily shareable content by writing and digitizing input from the device’s screen or via a regular sheet of paper using the HP Paper Folio.

HP Elite x2 1011 G1 is a lightweight, stylish, 11.6-inch diagonal 2-in-1 Windows device running Windows 8 Pro easily transforms from a tablet to a laptop with Ultra book configurations available. The Elite x2 adapts to personal work preferences with an ecosystem of optional accessories that includes an industry-first WI Gig enterprise wireless dock based on a joint collaboration with Intel, along with a cover, a lightweight travel keyboard and an optional Wacom pen.

The HP Pro Tab 10 EE is an Intel Atom based windows running tab however, HP pro Slate is android based. These two are built for the mobile workforce in education, healthcare, manufacture and retail. Both these tablets have passed durability test for dust moisture and drop. The 3G Connectivity is inbuilt and it has a hardwired keypad with TrackPoint.

HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 has been declared to be an affordable, 9 mm thin, 8-inch diagonal Intel® Atom® based business tablet which helps in keeping things working even when you are away from the computer.  It provides a full Windows 8.1 experience. The features like micro-HDMI, up to 64 GB of storage and an 8 MP AF rear camera with flash and Optional built in 3G Connectivity, the device gives experience of a lifetime.

HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare Tablet: Designed to improve caregiver productivity and enhance patient interaction. Durable and light in weight also has an antimicrobial treatment to protect the product. Since it’s a health care tab it can be cleaned easily. You can deploy it in any clinical environment. It will help in reducing the errors.

HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged Tablet: This is an ideal for mobile workers in manufacturing and in field environments. It has a battery life of 20 hours and also water and dust resistant. It also has a barcode reader to get information accessed quickly.

HP Retail Case for ElitePad offers retailers a versatile mobile and fixed POS solution for their employees. It gives the store operators an easier and comfortable way to access the inventory and product. You can also attach a mobile device to the pad and get the payments done via paypal or other payment websites.

HP EliteBook Folio 1020 family – thinnest and lightest of all business-class notebooks – consists of the HP EliteBook 1020 and the HP EliteBook 1020 Special Edition (SE), both ultra-thin at 15. 7 mm. HP’s exclusive blend of magnesium-lithium alloy and reusable carbon fiber to achieve a weight of only 1 kg (2.2 lb.It offers elite business-class performance and has a tough and cutting edge design.

  • HP Pro Slate 12 is expected to be available in May with a starting price of INR 41,500/-.
  • HP Elite x2 1011 G1 is available now with a starting price of INR 85,000/-.
  • HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 is available now with a starting price of INR 23,500/-.
  • HP Pro Slate 10 EE is available now with a starting price of INR 22,000/-.
  • HP Pro Tablet 10 EE is available now with a starting price of INR 25,000/-.
  • HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare Tablet is expected to be available in July with a starting price of INR 85,000/-.
  • HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged Tablet is expected to be available in July with a starting price of INR 85,000/-.
  • The HP Retail Case for ElitePad is expected to be available in March with a starting price of INR INR 26,000/- for a no battery Case and INR 29,000/- for a Case including battery.
  • The HP EliteBook Folio 1020 Standard Edition is expected to be available in March with a starting price of INR 95,000/-.
