Huawei Ascend G6 with 4.5-inch Display, 4G Connectivity – Specs & Details

Flagship smartphone!

Huawei Ascend G6_1Huawei has officially announced the Ascend G6 Android phone, with a 4.5-inch display and the 4G connectivity at MWC 2014.

Huawei Ascend G6 has a 4.5-inch screen with a 960×540 pixel resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon processor running at 1.2GHz, and an 8MP rear camera. It sports a 5MP front facing camera.

It comes in two versions, one with 4G LTE and the other without, plus a wide range of colors and unusual two-tone options. It’s light at 140 grams, and slim at 7.5mm thick. However, when compared to the LG G2 Mini, which has a very similar specification, it feels larger despite the G2 mini having a bigger 4.7-inch screen.Huawei Ascend G6

Huawei has installed its Emotion UI over the top of Android. It comes with several different themes and other options to customize the look, which you can see demonstrated in our hands-on video. The Ascend G6’s hardware is very pretty, and it has a surprisingly up-market feel for what is likely to be a sensibly priced smartphone.

It would be running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and the advantageous part here is the connectivity, as the Ascend G6 would have not just the standard connectivity options, but the superfast 4G LTE connectivity for the speed connectivity on-the-go.

Ascend G6 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable using the microSD card slot, which is located beneath the removable black plate and has a 2000mAh battery.
