Huawei Watch 2 with Android Wear 2.0 announced at MWC 2017

Huawei announced the Huawei Watch 2 which is their new smartwatch running the Android Wear 2.0 in the same keynote where they announced the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. These are one of the few smartwatches running the new Android Wear 2.0 OS after the LG smartwatches.

There are two versions of the Huawei Watch 2, the normal Huawei Watch 2 and the Huawei Watch 2 Classic. Both of them support LTE and GPS and both also support heart rate sensor. You also get NFC in these smartwatches so you can use them to make Android Pay purchases easily. The new smartwatches look a bit bigger and thicker and they both have 1.2-inch circular display. You also get a battery of 420mAh which Huawei claims that it provides two days of usage time.

Huawei has also added a new low-power mode in their new smartwatches which will disable the battery consuming functions like the step-counter etc. The watch itself is made up of polycarbonate and you can have interchangeable straps. The Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic have IP68 water resistance which is another plus point.
