iBerry Auxus AX04i…the 7 inch tablet from iBerry

Nice budget tablet!

iberry Auxus AX04iAlong with the new phone cum tablet the Auxus Note 5.5, iBerry has also launched a new tablet for the emerging markets in South East Asia. The Hong Kong based company is not much renowned right now for their products but the company is credited for making great smartphones and tablets at a decent price tag.

The iBerry Auxus AX04i comes with a big 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024×600 p which is decent to work for office executives. The tablet supports 2 SIM cards at the same time with regular 2G (GRS, EDGE) connectivity. It can be a turn on for some users as tablets with calling facility is a bit off the stream nowadays. The tablet features a dual core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled up with 512MB DDR3 RAM (really…we were expecting it to be better seeing the current markets and competition). The tablet is also fabricated with ARM Mali 400 GPU for the users who need to run 3D games smoothly.  The tablet has 4GB of on board storage along with the micro SD card slot support of up to 64GB. In terms of picture snapping and video recording capabilities, the tablet sports a 2 MPix rear snapper and a VGA front facing camera (isn’t that outdated). The tablet also connectivity options of Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The tablet also features Wireless display feature for presentations or watching the tab content directly on TV. It also supports usage of pen drives, mouse and hard disk drives via OTG interface. The tablet also sports Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is upgradeable to the higher versions OTA as promised by the company. The tablet is also equipped with gravity and accelerometer sensors. All of the hardware is powered by a non-removable 3000mAh battery which might not be sufficient for a day’s usage in intense gaming but would be decent enough for a normal user running basic apps. Physically the tablet scores 190.8 x 107 x 10.2 mm dimensionally and weighs around 259 grams.

The tablet comes with a price tag of just INR 5,999 (exclusively available at ebay.in), which could be the USP for the tablet sales. For such a price tag users can come up to get that tablet for general usage.
