All new iBerry Auxus Note 5.5 with….an unexpected fingerprint scanner

One more phablet!

iberry Auxus Note 5.5iBerry is now ready and all set to get their new smartphone cum tablet on the stores this week. The Hong Kong based company has made quite a few significant products and has managed to get a small share of the emerging markets of South East Asia. Now they have come up with the Auxus Note 5.5 which does have very good points to prove to its consumers.

As per specifications are concerned the Auxus 5.5 has big 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 720p HD which sums up to 267 pixels per inch. The screen comprises of IPS LCD OGS display which means we can expect great viewing angles and decent brightness. As the company says the display also uses Gorilla Glass protection on the top of the screen (not sure whether its gorilla glass 3.0). The device is equipped with the MediaTek MT 6592 Octa core processor with 8 cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz which is coupled up with 2GB of RAM for flawless performance and would definitely suffice the heavy usage by users. In the graphics, the device has Mali 450 MP4 GPU clocked at 700GHz which can provide ultra-smooth gaming experience as well. The on board storage provided is of 16 GB with a facility of expansion till 64 GB by the help of micro SD card slot. The primary snapper is of 13MPix which clicks decent pictures and the front facing camera is of 8MPix which is very very good for video calls. The front facing camera having such a good resolution can help to capture great selfies. On the connectivity side the device has 3G (on both the SIM cards), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS and micro USB. On the software side the device runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat yet we expect iBerry to give it an update from their side over the air. The device is also fabricated with finger print sensor, compass/magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscopic sensor. All of this hardware is powered by a massive 3200mAh battery which is sufficient for 1 day of moderate usage.

The highlighted feature of the Auxus Note 5.5 is, of course, the unexpected finger print scanner. We are not big fans of finger print scanners we have seen so far. If it’s used for unlocking only, we don’t see ourselves using this feature in day to day usage, but it sure qualifies as a great marketing feature.
