Idea Ultra+ and Idea Fab with 3G connectivity launched in India for Rs. 8,300 and Rs. 4,999

Idea Ultra plus and Idea FABIdea launched its two new smartphones Idea Ultra+ and Idea Fab with 3G connectivity and dual SIM.

The Idea Ultra+ comes with a leather back finish body; it has 1.3GHz quad core processor. The smartphone has 5-inch WVGA display with 854×480 pixels. It comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB. It sports an 8MP rear shooter with LED Flash and 0.3MP front facing camera. The Idea Ultra+ runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and it will be upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 2000mAh battery capacity.

The Idea Fab is a bit cheaper smartphone with 4-inch display with 800×480 pixel resolution. It sports 3.2MP rear shooter with flash and no front shooter. It runs on 1.2GHz dual core processor powered by 512MB RAM. The smartphone has 4GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB. The Idea Fab runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and is manufactured by Commtel.

The Idea Ultra+ is available in black and white colours for Rs. 8,300. The Idea FAB is for Rs. 4,999. These come with 3G data plan, 1.6GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with pack of Rs. 259 for existing subscribers and 1.6GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack of Rs. 261 for new subscribers. Idea cellular is targeting on Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West), and Punjab.
