iQOO 3 5G Smartphone Launched: Super AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 865 Processor, UFS 3.1 Storage, 55W Flash Charge and More

iQOO, the sub-brand of vivo launched their first top of the line premium smartphone called the iQOO 3 5G. In regards to the specs, the company went in with all guns blazing as the device packs some super cutting-edge features like a Snapdragon 865 Processor, a 55W Super Flash Charger and 5th Generation connectivity to name the few. Let’s take a deeper look at the announcement.

The display is a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with 2400*1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%. The body is entirely made out of GG6 Corning Gorilla Glass to give a premium fit and feel. It’s powered by a mightier Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset that is coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 storage and 8/12GB of DDR5 RAM. Meanwhile, the L-shaped camera setup is remarkable too with a 48MP primary lens, a 13MP Telephoto-20x digital zoom lens, a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies, on the other hand, are taken care through a 16MP sensor mounted under the punch-hole display on the front. The camera app includes all the bells and whistles such as a dedicated Super night mode, Super Anti Shake, Portrait Bokeh, AR stickers, Super wide-angle, Super macro, SLO-MO, PRO Mode, etc. Moreover, this setup is capable of capturing 4K videos at 60fps which sounds remarkable. 

The iQOO is touted to be future-ready with support for 5G connectivity the is poised to revolutionize 2020. It also includes some unique features such as Game Centre, Ultra Gaming Mode, Smart Split, Eye Protection Mode and Fun Video mode. Furthermore, the battery of the iQOO 3 is a moderate 4440mAh capacity with fast charging via 55W Super Flash Charge technology out of the box.

Pricing and Availability: 

The three variants of IQOO are priced at INR 36,990 for 8GB +128GB (4G), INR 39,990 for 8GB +256GB (4G) and INR 44,990 for 12GB +256GB (5G).

The smartphone will be offered in three unique colour schemes namely, Volcano Orange, Quantum Silver, Tornado Black. The device will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting 4th March, 12 pm.
