Android One smartphone Review!
As Google laid down their standards in the Android One project for their alliance of leading handset makers of India, Karbonn launched their smartphone under the Android One project as the Karbonn Sparkle V. The handset has a very good robust build quality along with good performance for basic level apps. The build design is more or less the same as the other Android One project phones by Spice and Micromax.
As far as the specifications of the device are concerned to Sparkle V has 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. The screen is bright and has good viewing angles. The resolution of smartphone compared with moto e is less but at 218ppi Sparkle V has good display quality as well. The glass is not scratch resistant and also is prone to fingerprints. It has a 1.3GHz dual core processor which is decent enough to run all the basic apps with good performance. It is coupled up with 1GB of RAM which is good at its price point. The stock android coupled up with the processor and RAM gives smooth experience for calls, messaging, whatsapp and other basic level apps. It has a 5MP rear camera which is good enough for Instagram users. The 2MP front facing camera is also good for selfies in daylight conditions. The speaker on the phone has good performance and is loud and clear The hardware on the smartphone is powered by a 1700mAh batter which is little less as per our expectation but still it can manage mixed usage of the smartphone for a day. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat which is completely stock in nature, so there are no bloatwares slowing down the device unnecessarily.
As per ur verdict, the users new to smartphone world can definitely start with the Sparkle V and the users looking for a good performance smartphone for basic usage in the INR 6000 segment can definitely go for it. The Karbonn Sparkle is priced at INR 5999 and is exclusively available at snapdeal.com
