 Why LeEco 1s is better than Redmi Note 3!

With its sales crossing more than 2 lakh units in India, LeEco’s debut smartphone, the Le 1s is proving to be a strong option in the budget segment. However, its domination is now being challenged by another Chinese brand Xiaomi with the Redmi Note 3. So, if you want to know which one is the better of the two, then read on to find out.

Both the devices seem similar at the first glance, with 5.5-inch displays encased in metal bodies. However, at 7.5 mm, the Le 1s manages to be sleeker than the Redmi Note 3, which has a thickness of 8.65mm.

Both the devices are quite powerful, however the LeEco Le 1s edges ahead with its octa-core processor in comparison to a hexa-core chipset powering the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. While the LeEco 1s features 3gigs of RAM, the Redmi Note 3 is available in two models, one with 2GB of RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM.

The LeEco Le 1s also a future-proof smartphone, thanks to a USB-Type C port which offers faster data transfers and let you plug in the USB cable from any direction. In contrast, the Redmi Note 3 has a standard micro-USB port. The Le 1s also supports quick charging, and with the bundled adapter, it can offer a talk time of up to 3.5 hours with just 5 minutes of charge.

Last but not the least, the Le 1s manages to differentiate itself with its content ecosystem. LeEco has partnered with Eros Now and Yupp TV, and will offer consumers subscription to these streaming services for free.

At the price point of Rs 10,999, the LeEco Le 1s is also more affordable than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
