Lenovo brings customization to the table: Starting with ThinkPad Series

Lenovo just announced their “Made-to-Order” service that lets the buyers customize their ThinkPad laptop. Users can experience this tailored process with ThinkPad X1 Carbon (6th Gen), ThinkPad E480, ThinkPad X1 Extreme, ThinkPad X380 Yoga, ThinkPad X280, ThinkPad X1 Yoga and ThinkPad L380 laptops.

Customization options include option such as choosing processor type, amount of RAM required, storage type, graphics chipset, screen resolution and even upgraded battery pack, dongles, expansion slots & keyboard.

Rahul Agarwal, CEO & MD, Lenovo India, SAYS

“At Lenovo, we understand that in today’s world, every individual uses a laptop differently because of which there has been a growing demand for personalized laptops.”

This service will be exclusively available to the ThinkPad series as it has been the workhorse of big organisations for quite a few years, and has amassed a good amount of fan following between household individuals to corporate conglomerates. Lenovo also promises to extend this service to the other line-up of Yoga series and their ThinkPad series further down the line.

Users can customize the configuration of a ThinkPad laptop on Lenovo`s official India store online. The company claims to deliver the laptop within two weeks of order confirmation.
