IFA 2016: Lenovo Miix 510 is a 2-in-1 with 12.2-inch display and Windows 10

Lenovo has launched a lot of hybrids this year at the IFA 2016 and the Miix 510 is one of them. You can very well call it a Surface clone since it looks more like one. In fact, the tag of Surface clone suits the device very well and it definitely not an insult for the device, and on the plus side, it’s also budget friendly in comparison.

The Lenovo Miix 510 comes with a kickstand just like the Surface and you can stretch it up to 150 degrees which is a great thing. Take a look at the specifications below.

Lenovo Miix 510 Specifications

  • 12.2-inch full HD 1080p display
  • Choice between 6th-gen Intel core i5 or i7 processor
  • Up to 8GB RAM
  • 1TB PCIe SSD
  • 5MP primary rear camera; 2MP front-facing camera
  • Battery life of 7.5 hours

As you can see, the specifications on the Lenovo Miix 510 are impressive and are comparable to the Surface easily. You get a clip-on keyboard just like what Surface has to offer and the 6th-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 are the low voltage chipsets, which means you get better battery life on this device. You can choose up to 8GB RAM which is more than enough for day to day usage. For video calls and other things, you have a webcam that works well and has a decent quality.

As mentioned before, there is a metal hinge or a kickstand on the Lenovo Miix 510 which works very well and it is very stable too. You also get LTE on the Lenovo Miix 510 which something that Surface totally misses out on.
