LG G-Pad Tablet Game changer or not?

LG G-Pad is on its way, will it be a game changer?

After a video teaser G Pad 8.3 is finally announced in press release by LG on Monday. G Pad is first LG tab with 1920 x 1200 WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) LCD with pixel density of 273 ppi, which is actually lower than its competitor New Nexus 7 (2013).

It is powered by 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 600 processor with battery of 4600mAh inside 8.3. LG has made this tablet very thin and it weighs only 338 grams with dimension of 8.3mm. Its rare camera is 5MP, front camera is 1.3MP complete a good hardware built.

G Pad runs on Android 4.2.2 at launch, Optimus UI with some software features of LG G2 smartphone like KnockOn in which two light taps will wake G Pad awake. QSlide is also included which needs three fingers gesture to allow three apps to run at same time on screen.

It will be officially launched in IFA Berlin next week. The G Pad 8.3 will be in markets of Asia, North America and Europe in Q4 2013 or in October. There is no official word on pricing but it will be near to its competitor New Nexus 7.
