German TV maker, Metz, just launched their first OLED smart TV for the Indian market today. Although the brand, currently offers a range of TV`s, this latest addition introduces a 4K OLED technology to their repertoire of smart TVs in the Indian market.
The new Metz M55S9A offers a 55-inch 4K OLED panel that measures in at 3.6mm. This ultra-thin body is packed underneath an ingenious design that allows the frame to bend in clean sight, giving a much wider field of view. The TV servers as a great gaming companion with its smooth 120Hz frame rate and high res picture quality at 3840×2160.
The TV comes with DTS-X Pro technology which outputs a mesmerising sound stage through the front-mounted 5x4W speaker system. Additionally, it includes features such as Self-Luminious display technology, True HDR Technology, HDMI ARC with build-in chromecast, 16GB of onboard storage. The television runs on Android 8.0 OS with confirmed support for Android 9.0. The TV also includes a set of pre-loaded apps like Netflix & Youtube, and with built-in support for smart voice control function through Google Assitant.
The smart TV comes with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and built-in Chromecast. Other ports include 3 HMDI outputs, 3 USB outputs, 1 AV input, an Optical Digital Audio Out, 1 Component Video Input, 1 Headphone-out, and 1 LAN port for internet connectivity
