Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 and Canvas Selfie 3 Q348 launched in India

Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3 is official!

Micromax Canvas Selfie 2Micromax launches its two latest Selfie focussed smartphone named Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 and Canvas Selfie 3 Q348. The Canvas Selfie 2 comes with 5MP rear camera, LED flash, OmniVision (OV5648) sensor and 4P lens and 5MP front camera with OmniVision (OV5670) sensor and 4P lens. The Canvas Selfie 3 comes with 8MP rear camera, Blue Glass 5P Largan Lens with LED flash and 8MP front camera with Sony MX179 sensor, LED flash, 78 degrees wide-angle lens.

Both these smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expandable, dual SIM support and 3G connectivity.

Commenting on the launch of the two new Canvas Selfie smartphones, Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics, said,

The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 will be available in Black colour with leather-like finish for Rs. 5,999. It will go on sale from August 22nd, 2015. The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 Q348 will be available in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow colours and will be on sale in the last week of August, but no word on pricing yet.

  • Camera: Rear 8MP with Blue Glass 5P Largan Lens with LED flash/ Front 8MP with Sony MX179 sensor, LED flash, 78 degrees wide-angle lens
  • SIM: Dual
  • OS: Android
  • Connectivity: 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS
