Micromax Canvas Xpress 2Micromax launched Canvas Xpress 2, which is the cheapest octa core smartphone in India. The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6592M SoC boosted with Mali 450 GPU. It has 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1280×720 pixels.

The Xpress 2 sports 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and 2MP front camera. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. It is currently running on Android 4.4 KitKat but will soon get Lollipop 5.0 upgrade. It is dual SIM smartphone and supports 3G connectivity. It includes Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo DAC for an enhanced audio output.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 E313 will be available in Black finish with Gold RIM for Rs. 5,999. It offers 500MB of free 3G data per month for 2 months for Vodafone customers.
