Mio LINK – the next-gen fitness wearable

“Mio Global brings a new waterproof, comfortable and hassle-free heart-rate monitoring wristband”

Are you a fitness freak? Then at some point of your training, you must have faced this horrid situation, where the results are always mediocre no matter how much efforts you put in. Having set the fitness goals and training real hard for it has never been easy. However, the key point here is to train smart. In the era of smartphones and gadgets, training smartly is the key.

There are several heart rate monitors which help you to track your heart rate in real time. One of them is Mio LINK, a continuous performance-level heart rate wristband, geared to deliver excellence.

mio LINK 1

Unlike the usual chest strap-based heart-rate monitors, LINK is a silicon wristband, which is an ideal design as it fits your wrists well. It uses the patented technology of optical heart rate sensors for the wrist to measure the heart rate by the volume of the blood under the skin. Mio measures the EKG heart rate and never fails to provide accuracy. The wristband is super comfortable, water resistant and stylish. The hassle free operation never holds you back, in fact, the sport-proof engineering makes it compatible with any kind of activity. The problem of sores and raw spots because of chest straps is also completely eliminated.

The band has a colored LED, which displays different colours on the basis of the heart zone. The customization of heart zone can be done easily. LINK also allows you to track your heart rate during a number of activities.

Mio LINK connects via Bluetooth (4.0) and ANT+, with all Android devices running v4.3 or above. LINK also allows you to share the data on a number of mobile fitness apps, GPS watches, and other devices. These include the Apple iPhones from the 4s to the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Samsung’s Galaxy S4, S5 and Note 3 as well as Google Nexus. It also supports iPad tablets along with GPS watches from Garmin.

Once charged fully, its battery lasts for an average of seven to eight hours. You can also use the Mio GO app to configure the heart rate zones. Once you are started with Mio GO on your device you can measure the real-time heart rate on the go and in fact switch between the training modes. The Mio GO app personalizes your heart rate zones, stores your workout and also reviews your workout data.

The Mio LINK is exclusively available on Amazon.in for Rs 6,599.
