Motorola One Action Launched: Quad Pixel Action Camera Setup with CinemaVision Display priced at Rs. 13,999

Motorola announced their new One-series smartphone called the One Action in India. This segment marks the company`s effort to emphasize one particular aspect of the phone in its unique way. This time around it’s the inclusion of the action camera and a big cinematic display is what is driving this change.

The Moto One Action packs a 6.3-inch (2,520 x 1,080) IPS panel with CinemaVision and 21:9 aspect ratio. The screen profile is kept slim for its size to enable a great movie viewing experience. There`s a massive punch-hole display on the top left to house the biggest font facing camera yet. Running this smartphone is a Samsung made Exynos 9609 chipset that is coupled with 4GB of Ram and 128GB of expandable storage.

The crux of the matter comes in form of its camera setup which resembles the ones we see on action cameras these days. It comes with a quad pixel tech under a triple camera setup of 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 5MP depth sensor and a 16MP (117 degrees) Ultrawide lens that can fit 4x times the content of an average frame. The front camera, on the other hand, is a robust 12MP (f/2.0) unit with several shooting modes such as Portrait Lighting, Shot Optimization, Auto Smile Capture, Cinemagraph, Slow-motion video and Time-lapse. This overall setup lends a level of versatility that is something we have never come across in a smartphone. All this tech is neatly packaged under the Google`s Android One ecosystem that is smooth and clutters free at the same time. Also, the battery is rated at 3,500 mAh with support for 10W fast charging over USB Type-C. Additional features include IPX2 Waterproof coating, Dolby Audio system, and Quick Gesture systems to unlock the smartphone or trigger the flashlight.

The Moto One Action will be available in three different colour schemes namely – Denim Blue and Pearl White. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 13,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, will be exclusive on Flipkart.
