Nokia is doing a great job in India when it comes to smartphones. Over the time they’ve learned from their mistakes and now Nokia seems to be a pretty solid brand. To conquer other brands they are burning candles at both the ends and one big example is their Nokia 5.1 Plus. The device already available in some regions including China and luckily Nokia is launching the same device in India. So without wasting a moment let’s know more about it.
Nokia 5.1 Plus is targeted to compete against the likes of Realme 2 and Redmi 6 Pro handsets. The device comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 Octa-Core processor coupled with a Mali-G72 MP3 for gaming. The device will only be made available in one hardware configuration: 4GB RAM+64GB ROM. Luckily the internal storage of the device is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
In the front, the device employs a 5.86(inch) HD+ IPS Display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. In the Camera department, it rocks a 13MP+5MP Dual setup in the rear with EIS, PDAF, Aperture f/2.0 whereas in the front a 12MP selfie shooter is provided for selfies. The device has a premium looking glossy Glass design which looks quite expensive. In the rear, a Fingerprint Scanner is provided and the device also supports Face Recognition. Nokia 5.1 Plus runs on a 3060mAh battery which is expected to deliver ample battery backup.
Nokia has this time emphasized a lot on Artificial Intelligence and Gaming, so users can expect super smooth performance. The device is priced at INR 10,999 and will go on sale starting from 1st October through Flipkart. The device comes in two color variants: Gloss Black and Gloss Midnight Blue.
