HMD Global launched the awaited XR20 which is a rugged smartphone. It comes with an IP68 rating which makes it waterproof with MIL-STD-810H military standard sleek casing, also has 1.5m drop protection with 1.5m for 30 minutes submerged in water. The company says it can handle harsher than the rough and tumble of everyday life.
The XR20 has 6.7-inch FHD+ with Punch Hole display, also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for durability. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 480 5G processor. It runs on Android 11, also offering three years of software upgrade and four years of security updates. It sports 48MP primary rear camera with ZEISS Optics, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP front camera. It packs with 4630mAh battery with an 18W charger in the box and supports 15W Qi wireless charging.
The Nokia XR20 has a programmable top button and comes with an accessory loop to attach a lanyard. It packs with Stereo speakers, OZO spatial audio, SpeedWarp mode with super-stabilization lets you fast-forward to the key moments.
The Nokia XR20 will be available in Granite and Ultra Blue colours and priced at Rs. 46,999. The smartphone will be available across leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com. The pre-booking date is 20th to 29th October 2021 and the phone will go on sale from 30th October 2021. Customers who pre-book the smartphone can get freebies like Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth Rs. 3,599, and One year of the screen protection plan.
