OnePlus 12 Breaks Ground with 6.82″ 2K AMOLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Massive 5400mAh Battery

OnePlus has recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, in India. Boasting a sizable 6.82″ 2K AMOLED display with a remarkable peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the device is fueled by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It supports up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and offers a capacious storage option of up to 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology. The phone incorporates a substantial 9140mm² VC heat dissipation area.

A distinctive feature is the self-developed Display P1 chip, meticulously optimized for extending the lifespan of the display, particularly at high brightness levels. The OnePlus 12’s “TIME Design” draws inspiration from luxury watches, showcasing a hollow-curved design. The camera module features time scales, a starry dial, and circular characters, symbolically representing the passage of time.

Retaining the signature three-stage alert slide, OnePlus has innovatively relocated it to the left side, facilitating the introduction of a new integrated antenna and Alert Slider solution. This redesign enhances antenna performance, especially beneficial for gaming enthusiasts.

The phone offers a unique color palette – the white variant employs the latest generation of ceramic glass technology, preserving its original intent. The Flowy Emerald variant incorporates emerald green glass inspired by the Dart River’s braided channels, while the black variant features a matte finish with silk glass craftsmanship.

Equipped with a Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens supporting 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and an impressive 120x digital zoom. Additionally, the device sports a 48MP Ultra-Wide Camera and boasts a 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile.

The OnePlus 12 secures an IP65 dustproof and waterproof rating, ensuring durability. Powering the device is a robust 5400mAh battery, supporting rapid charging with 100W SuperVOOC technology and 50W wireless flash charging. Notably, it also features wireless reverse charging, providing versatility. Charging times are impressive, reaching 100% in just 26 minutes for wired and 55 minutes for wireless charging.

The OnePlus 12 is offered in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black hues, with the 12GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs. 64,999 and the 16GB + 512GB model at Rs. 69,999.
