OnePlus 5 with Snapdragon 835, 20MP + 16MP dual rear cameras, and 8GB RAM announced

OnePlus finally unveils OnePlus 5!

OnePlus announced its flagship OnePlus 5 in an online event. It has 5.5-inch FHD Optic AMOLED display with DCI-P3 color coverage and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on Oxygen OS which includes the reading mode (blue light filter). It will be coming in two RAM and storage variants 6GB and 8GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage.

The OnePlus 5 sports 16MP primary shooter at rear end with f/1.7 aperture, 20MP secondary shooter at rear end for achieving bokeh effect and will offer 2x zoom. It also has a front shooter 16MP for taking selfies. It has the ceramic fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone in 0.2 seconds.

It packs with 3300mAh battery capacity with Dash Charge which promises a day of battery with half charge. It has an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design and 7.25mm thickness.

The OnePlus 5 comes in Slate Gray and Midnight Black colors and starting price is $479 (approx. Rs. 30958) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB variant. It will be available from 27th June 2017.
