OnePlus 7T Pro Launched: 90Hz Quad HD+ Display, UFS 3.0 Storage, 4085mAh Battery and More

Within a month of the arrival of its new 7th generation OnePlus smartphone, the company is back with a Pro edition of its series called the OnePlus 7T Pro. The launch event for the OnePlus 7T Pro began with company’s co-founder Carl Pei explaining the purported reasons behind the ever-rising adoption of OnePlus smartphones over other brands. He claimed the underlying reason to be the company’s most sophisticated and minimalistic OxygenOS to be the root cause of this change. Adding to this experience will be a new set of features such as landscape switching, updated Zen mode, updated OnePlus Gallery and a new range of customisation options.

After this brief overview, the company took the wraps off their new OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone. The device comes with a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display without any notch on the top. The display is a similar one that puts out a 90Hz refresh rate to render those buttery smooth visuals. The device is slated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC with 8 gigs of RAM and 256GB of optional storage. The device comes packed with next-gen tech like a dedicated liquid cooling setup, Dolby Atmos audio driver, responsive haptic feedback setup for those extended gaming sessions.

The device comes loaded with a 48MP rear camera (Sony IMX586) OIS sensor, a 16MP 117° ultra-wide-angle lens camera capable of shooting 2.5macro and an 8MP telephoto camera for a 3x optical zoom. The front includes the same 16MP (Sony IMX471) sensor that was present in the OnePlus 7 Pro.

The battery is slightly bumped up to a respectable 4085mAh battery with the company’s renowned Warp Charging 30T fast charging technology.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition:

For all the OnePlus fans, the company has included the optional McLaren edition as before with a few differences from the 7T Pro. In terms of changes, the McLaren Edition will be available in a single storage option of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The design stays symbolic with a sporty Alcantara finished papaya orange colour that carries the design across the UI in terms of design element overlaid on the Icons, animation and notification slider.

Pricing and Availability:

In India, the OnePlus 7T Pro price is set at Rs. 53,999 for the Haze Blue Colour, whereas the McLaren Edition will set you back by Rs. 58,999. The OnePlus 7T Pro will go on sale starting tomorrow at noon via Amazon India, OnePlus.in, OnePlus offline stores.

The McLaren Edition will arrive a bit later on November 5 via Amazon, OnePlus.in and OnePlus offline stores.
