OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Launched: QHD+ Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate, Snapdragon 865, Warp Charge 30, Interstellar Glow Finish and More

While the mobile industry battles the extent of COVID-19, as several pending launches postponed to coming months, OnePlus hasn’t back down from launching their latest eight series smartphones. The company in their much innovative style streamed the launch on their YouTube and Website today.

OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ display which packs the signature 120Hz refresh rate and a new MEMC Fluid motion technology, alongside the high responsive 240Hz touch feedback system. The camera setup consists of a 48MP primary lens, a 48MP Ultra-Wide lens, a Color Filter lens and a 3X Telephoto lens on the back with technology such as Dynamic Video 3-HDR, Hybrid Image Stabilization and 3 Microphone audio zooms. The front houses a 16MP camera which is barely noticeable with its minimal 3.8mm footprint. The smartphone uses a Snapdragon 865 Processor alongside an LPDDR5 RAM up to 12GB, while the storage comes with UFS 3.0 support as standard. The smartphone packs some next-gen specs such as 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Haptic Vibration 2.0, and IP68 protection. The battery is rated at 4510mAh with support for Warp Charge 30T and Wireless Warp Charge 30, that is promised to charge the battery by 50% in under 30 mins. The OnePlus 8 comes in three gorgeous finishes called the Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Ultramarine Blue colours.

Following the launch of OnePlus 8 Pro, the company also revealed the OnePlus 8 which, much like the Pro gets a hoard of interesting features. The OnePlus 8 packs a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10/10+ support. The camera setup includes a triple sensor unit of 48MP Main lens, a 16MP Ultra-Wide lens and a Macro lens on the back with techs like Hybrid Image Stabilisation and a variety of shooting modes. The smartphone runs on Snapdragon 865 chipset with Turbo Write and HPB technology. The battery is rated at 4300mAh with Warp Charging technology that gives it a 60 per cent top-up in under half an hour. Unfortunately, the OnePlus 8 missed out on IP68 rating but do gets the 5G support like its elder sibling. The OnePlus 8 will be offered in glossy Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Interstellar Glow which reflects a wide array of surrounding light in a unique blend.

OnePlus Z Bullet Wireless

OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z announced by the company which can run for 10 hrs with 10 minutes of charging and with full battery charge it can run for 20 hours. It will be coming in 4 colors Black, Blue, Mint and Oat.

OnePlus plans to launch the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the US by April 29th, and in Europe by April 21st. The OnePlus 8 will be priced at $699 for an 8GB+128GB storage model, and $799 for a 12GB+256GB storage option. The OnePlus 8 Pro sit slightly higher at $899 for 8GB+128GB variant and $999 for 12GB+256GB variant. The OnePlus Bullet Wireless Z priced for $49.95.
