OPPO kicked off their 2020 with the launch of a new smartphone called the OPPO F15 in India. The company was teasing the arrival of the smartphone for quite some time across its online e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. For starters, the F15 boasts similar specifications to the A91 launched a while back in China. The “F” line-up signifies a redefined take on sleek and fashionable design that makes the smartphone all the more enticing.
The smartphone packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 per cent. The design profile comes at a mere 7.9mm thick, weighing in at 172 grams making the device a lot more agile and handy. The device houses an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 processor on the inside with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also features a quad rear camera setup with 48MP AI primary sensor, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro lens on the back. The front, on the other hand, has a 16MP lens, adept for good looking selfies.
Powering this smartphone is an adequate 4,000mAh battery that as the company says, will run the device for over a day worth of heavy use. This unit also supports quick charging via the company’s proprietary VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge tech, that promises 2 hours of talk time with a 5-minute charge. Another prominent feature teased by the company is the in-display fingerprint 3.0 sensor, that is said to unlock the Oppo F15 in as little as 0.32 seconds.
Pricing and Availability:
The OPPO F15 is priced at Rs. 19,990 for 8GB+ 128GB variant. The device is offered in two classic looking colour schemes namely Unicorn White and Lightening Black. The smartphone is all set to be available via e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and also via offline retailers pre-orders starts from today and will go on sale from January 24th.
