OPPO Watch Launched in China: 3D Flexible Hyperboloid Display, Dual-Chip Endurance & Long Battery Mode

OPPO just announced their entry into the smartwatch category with the launch of their all-new OPPO Smartwatch, alongside the flagship Find X2 Series smartphone. This launch clearly states OPPO’s intention to fill the void that was present in the wearables segment they didn’t cater to all these years.

The 46mm watch uses a 3D Flexible hyperboloid display which is quite unheard in the wearables industry. This 1.91-inch AMOLED panel packs an impressive 326 PPI packed within an aluminium ultra-frame design to give users the max amount of info in a single glance.

The watch comes with what OPPO calls an E-Sim option to make calls or access the internet. The watch offers numerous functionality such as listening to music, making payments, sleep monitoring, health tracking, amongst others. It also comes with water and dust resistance rated at 50 meters. It’s powered by OPPO’s own Dual-Chip endurance system that seamlessly switches from Snapdragon chip and Apollo 3 processor depending on the power demands.

The best part of the OPPO watch is the VOOC Fast charging technology which charges the 430mAh battery from 1% to 50% in under 20 minutes. This high-density battery is slated to last over 40 hours or up to 21 days in Power Saving mode which just shows essential notifications.
