Rugged tablet is better for rough use!
Panasonic launched its latest Android tablet with rugged body named as Toughpad FZ-B2. The tablet has 7-inch WXGA IPS LCD display with 800×1200 pixels and fanless design. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat running out of the box.
The tablet comes with 1.83GHz Intel Celeron N2930 processor which can be burst to 2.16GHz along with Intel HD Graphics. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable. It sports 5MP rear shooter which can be interpolated to 8MP and 2MP front shooter.
The FZ-B2 meets the MIL-STD-810G standard, features a IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 with 3220mAh replaceable battery. It comes with 14 hour optional battery.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-B2 will available in Europe from this December for GBP 709 (approx. Rs. 70,600) and in US from February for $1299 (approx. Rs. 80,000). No word on availability yet.
