Panasonic Lumix G95 Launched: Rugged Design Hybrid Mirrorless Camera with 4K Technology!

Panasonic India added a new name called the Lumix G95 to their repertoire of cutting-edge Single Lens Mirrorless Camera. This versatile camera marks a rugged outlook targeting active class of content creators like Videographers, Youtubers, Bloggers and Photographers.

Lumix G95 features a 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor which provides enhanced mobility. This coupled with its powerful 4K features and 9fps burst shooting speeds addresses a vast range of user expectation. The particular system makes for advanced picture quality, high operating performance and video functions, perfect for content creators.

The video output is limited to 8-bit on both external and internal, and comes with Panasonic’s V-Log L setting that offers exceptional flexibility in and during post-production. Complementing these features is an intricate 5-axis IBS system that aids in smoothing out shots, making it ideal for handheld field use. The hybrid mirrorless camera also carries Panasonic’s 4K photo mode that allows for rapid shooting with object focusing taking place in just .07 seconds. Additionally, the camera also includes enhanced features such as face and eye detection to accurately track subjects and capture blur-free images across the entire range.

Mr Sandeep Sehgal, Business Chief, Panasonic India, adds,

Scaling new heights of product innovation, the new Lumix G95 is a significant addition to Panasonic’s DSLM Lumix range for quality photography and videography. Known for its pro-photo performance with 4K cinematic video, the range caters to photography and filmmaking enthusiasts to experience the power of unparalleled image quality with its innovative technology and a host of new functions. Designed to disrupt the DSLM segment, we see a huge potential for Lumix G series in India.

4K videography is made possible through V-Log L which offers exceptional flexibility throughout the dynamic range for easy colour grading and post-processing. The G95 records buttery smooth high res videos with its full-time AF and High-speed signal readout. While a 49-point focus detection along with DFD (Depth from Defocus) technology offers superior image quality with its 9 fps (AFS)/ 6 fps (AFC) settings. While its Venus Engine far surpassed the competition in tracking fast-moving objects while keeping them in focus. Moreover, a Face and Eye Detection AF helps in capturing a stunning portrait with crisp focus and accurate scene recognition.

The enhanced mobility comes through its intuitive one-hand operation which quickly alters the settings to ensure shake-free images. Its rugged dynamics comes through its solid design, splash and dust-free construction. Additionally, the camera comes with a flip-out screen that tilts up and down by approximately 250-degree, and its integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allows the users to activate the camera by simply using a smartphone/tablet. Moreover, with an eye-point of approximately 20 mm ensures screen visibility and comfortable use for users with glasses. Panasonic’s Lumix G95 comes with a dual kit option of – G95H (14-140mm, F3.5-5.6) and G95M Kit (12-60mm, F3.5- 5.6) available at all Panasonic stores across the country.
