Panasonic LUMIX GH5 with splash/dust-proof body, 4K/60p video launched in India

LUMIX GH5 comes to India!

Panasonic India brings the flagship LUMIX GH5 in the market. It comes with the 4K 60p/50p video recording and 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p/25p internal video recording. It comes with VFR (Variable Frame Rate) that allows the user to record over-cranked/under-cranked video in 4K (60 fps, maximum 2.5x slower) and Full HD (180 fps, maximum 7.5x slower), treat for videographers.

 

The LUMIX GH5 has 20.3MP Digital Live MOS Sensor without low-pass filter which combines with the new Venus Engine, achieving highest-ever picture quality in resolution, color reproduction and noise reduction. The Venus Engine further empowers DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology, making it capable of ultra-high-speed digital signal processing at a maximum of 480 fps. The focus areas are increased from 49 to 225 areas on the GH5 in addition to the conventional Face/Eye Recognition resulting in more precise focusing. It will be compatible with 400-Mbps 4:2:2 10-bit All-Intra video recording in 4K 30p/25p/24p and 200-Mbps All-Intra Full-HD in the second half of 2017.

Where it comes to photography 6K can be shoot, 30 fps by extracting the frame with the best timing out of the 6K burst file (in 4:3 or 3:2 aspect) to save as an approx.

The GH5 has double SD Memory Card slot, compatible with the high-speed, high-capacity UHS-II for the first time ever in a LUMIX digital camera. User can have different recording method Relay Recording, Backup Recording or Allocation Recording. For connectivity, it includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity to share images.

The LUMIX GH5 has a rugged magnesium alloy body with full die cast for the front and rear frame which makes it splash-proof and dustproof and also freeze-proof down to -10 degrees. The DC-GH5 Body is priced at INR 1,43,990 and DC-GH5 Kit with 12-60 mm F2.8-4.0 will be available for INR 1,88,990.
