Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro Launched: Quad Camera Smartphone starting ₹9,999 & ₹13,999!

Realme revealed their latest 5th series smartphones in the form of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. These latest iterations flaunt the company`s most capable quad-camera setup with every bit of tech that you could hope for. Let’s overview the launch announcements in a jiffy.

Realme 5

The new Realme 5 comes in a brand-new diamond-cut design with neat highlight elements underneath the laser crafted holographic texture. It packs a 6.5-inch extra-large field display which measures in at 89% of screen-to-body ratio. The quad-camera setup includes 12MP Super Main Camera (f/1.8), 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, Ultra Macro Lens (f/2.4) and a Portrait lens. This camera setup is complemented by an array of AI-powered features such as Nightscape, Chroma boost & Slow-Motion(240fps) video recording. The selfie camera is a decent 13MP sensor with advance EIS stabilization and all the AI-powered Beauty Mode. Internals include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE processor built on 11nm architecture, coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. Powering this processor is a humongous 5000mAh battery unit which should last for a day or two. Additional features include a Splash free design, Real Sound Technology and a Gorilla Glass protection.  

Realme 5 Pro

The new Realme 5 Pro is the premium of the two 5-series smartphones. It too dons that beautiful 3D crystal design diamond cut holographic effect. It features a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dewdrop display with a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of camera it packs a quad-camera setup of AI-powered 48MP shooter (f/1.8), 8MP (f/2.25) Ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP lens for portraits, 2MP macro shooter with image tuning tech derived from the Realme X. Front-facing camera, on the other hand, comes in form of a 16MP (f/2.0) unit that packs all the AI-powered camera goodies. The device is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 712 processor that is built on the 10nm architecture. Additional feature includes Gaming Hyper boost 2.0, & a 4035mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 Fast Charging through the included 20W USB-C charger in the box.
