Realme Launched its C1 handset in India for INR 6,999

Realme has today announced its two new smartphones in the market. We’ve already covered a story about the premium Realme 2 Pro which is just launched today. The second smartphone from the house of Realme is known as the Realme C1 which is the inferior of the two. Being a budget device it offers a ton of new features but you simply can’t compare them with the Realme 2 Pro. So without making any delay let’s know more about its specifications and pricing.

Realme C1 comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. The handset comes in only one variant with 2GB RAM+16GB ROM. Luckily the storage is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card. The handset runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on the Android 8.1 Oreo and is probably the cheapest handset in the Realme-series. Instead of a Fingerprint Scanner, a user will be getting an AI-powered Facial Recognition for security.

In the front, the device has a 6.2(inch) HD+ IPS Display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset features a 13MP+2MP rear snapper with PDAF whereas in the front a 5MP snapper for selfies is given. The thickness of the handset is at 8.2mm and it weighs around 168 grams. Realme C1 is fueled by a mammoth 4320mAh battery which may last you more than a day. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi, OTG support, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. The handset is priced at INR 6,999 and will go on sale starting from October 11th through Flipkart.
