Samsung why so low end smartphone?
Samsung launched Samsung Galaxy Core Plus few months back and now they announced Samsung Galaxy Core Advance. Samsung Galaxy Core Advance is a lower end smartphone which is loaded with 1GB RAM running on 4.7-inch WVGA display. Galaxy Core Advanced is clocked 1.2GHz dual-core processor with onboard memory storage of 8GB which is expandable up to 64GB.
Samsung Galaxy Core Advance runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean supports HSPA, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. It has 5-megapixel rear camera to take pictures and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front facing camera. It doesn’t have LTE support for connectivity but Samsung has mentioned that it has buttons which will be helpful for disabled users and visually impaired users.
Samsung Galaxy Core Advance has some cool features like optical scan using camera which will allow users to recognize text and read them louder. It also has voice guided camera app which lets users to know how many faces detected. Screen Curtain feature which allows device to be operated in black screen for privacy and power saving mode. A new light-sensing feature can detect the direction and brightness of light, also has an instant voice recorder app allows to make quick spoken notes.
Samsung Galaxy Core Advance will be available in Deep Blue and Pearl White colours. Samsung has not given any word on pricing but the smartphone will go on sale on early 2014.
