Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-IrisSamsung launched Galaxy Tab Iris, it has iris recognition technology that is Aadhaar card and STQC certified. It comes with Make for India initiative, The Tab Iris will provide cashless and paperless services in various applications such as banking, eGovernance services such as passport, taxation, healthcare and education. It has embedded Aadhaar iris-biometric authentication capability

Dr. Aloknath De, Corporate Vice President and CTO, Samsung India R&D, said,
