Samsung Gear S launched in India for Rs. 27,900

Samsung Galaxy Gear SSamsung is on the go with its Tizen powered Smart watch Gear S since last week Samsung has also started to take up pre orders for the new generation curved smart watch.The most attractive feature of the smart watch which has been creating a lot of hype among the gadget fans is that it supports SIM card. The calling feature that was not available in the earlier version was the most demanded feature for the next generation Gear S, and Samsung has worked and brought it this time.

The original price quoted for the smartwatch by Samsung was INR 28900. Now when up for pre orders at Samsung estore, Samsung has lowered the price by 1000 to INR 27900. The device supports independent voice calls with 3G support which will definitely be the unique selling proposition for the Gear S in the premium smartwatch segment.The Gear S has a 2-inch (360×480 pixels) curved Super AMOLED display, comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor. It has IP67 certification for dust and water-resistant and connects to the devices using Bluetooth 4.1 LE. It comes with a Heart Rate sensor to monitor your heart rate and packs a 300mAh Li-ion battery that promises up to 2 days of battery life which is definitely a turn on among the gadget freaks. It will exclusively available on Amazon.in.
