Wireless Gaming Controller for Smartphones!
World leader in smartphone and tablets manufacturing company Samsung has unveiled the Smartphone GamePad controller for Android 4.1 and above devices. Samsung has introduced the Smartphone GamePad and Mobile Console app to enhance the gaming experience on mobile devices.
Samsung Smartphone GamePad wireless game controller for smartphones and tablets running Android 4.1, with Bluetooth connectivity. Smartphone GamePad has been optimized to work best with Samsung’s own Galaxy lineup and can be best experienced with devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S III and the Samsung Galaxy S4 enable easy connectivity with GamePad via NFC tag and quicker access to games via the “PLAY” button.
The Smartphone GamePad directly transforms a Galaxy smartphone or tablet into a portable gaming console or even a home console. It is attachable to mobile devices ranging from 4-inches to 6.3-inches. Bluetooth pairing is allowed on the GamePad.
Samsung Smartphone GamePad is accompanied by “Mobile Console app,” which will allow easy access to the games that support the controller. The Mobile Console app is available for download through Samsung Apps or by tapping the GamePad’s “Play” button.
Thirty five games currently fully support the controller, including
- Need for Speed Most Wanted
- Asphalt 8: Airborne
- Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour
- Virtua Tennis Challenge
- Prince of Persia : The Shadow and the Flame
The device is currently available in selected European markets and will be available worldwide in the coming weeks.
