Sennheiser launches the first edition of Sennheiser Top 50 in partnership with Amazon.in

India’s first digital battle of newbies and emerging bands!

PrintSennheiser is yet in another pursuit of perfect sound, is bringing a one of a kind musical venture to the music lovers of India, in partnership with Amazon.in. Sennheiser presenting the Top 50 is India’s first ever digital contest where the newbies and semi-professional bands will come together from across the country to battle it out. Opening May 1, 2015, the contest will narrow its entries down to 50 through a series of selection routines. And all the 50 best bands will be judged by a legendary panel consisting Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Salim-Sulaiman, all of whom also happen to be active Sennheiser endorsers.

This innovative talent hunt presents all young bands with dreamy-eyed musicians the opportunity to rock the world with their talent. The contest is purely digital and open all across India. All that the participant needs is an internet connection. The contest is about to help to grow the talented participants.

The campaign will be start by the uploading of the track (a cover or original composition) by the entrants. All shortlisted entries will invite, and the top 100 most voted bands will move to the next round. These top 100 bands will then have to submit their music videos and answer a detailed questionnaire about their band. The top 50 will be judged and ranked by Sennheiser ambassadors, Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and Salim-Sulaiman.
