Six reasons why the Honor 6X is the smartphone to go for in the budget segment

The Honor 6X offers a lot – at a not-so-high price!

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has recently launched the Honor 6X in the Indian market. Like its siblings, the smartphone packs a ton of features that too at an attractive price point. In fact, we can go as far as to say that it’s probably among the best buys in its segments. Don’t believe us? Well, we’ll give you not one, not two, but six reasons as to why the Honor 6X is no ordinary smartphone.

Beautiful metallic design

Who says that only premium phones can look classy with their metallic bodies? Similar to its predecessor, the Honor 5X, the 6X also features a unibody metal design. It also manages to be quite slim and lightweight, and thus fits in the hands comfortably, which is also helped with the fact that it has dual curves at the rear.

Impressive visuals

At the front, the Honor 6X comes with a large 5.5-inch display. It bears a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which means that the text and images look better and there’s no pixelation.

Double or nothing, when it comes to cameras

All of Honor smartphones have given special emphasis to camera capabilities, and the 6X not only follows the same trend, but disrupts the budget smartphone cameras. It comes with not one, but two sensors at the back – offering you flagship-level images at less than one-fourth of their price. Its primary camera is rated at 12-megapixels which is complemented by a 2MP shooter. The cameras offer impressive details and colours, but more importantly also provide DSLR-like features such as bokeh effects, light trails, and more.

Superb performance

The Honor 6X isn’t just about its cameras though. It takes care of the performance aspect as well thanks to its in-house Kirin 655 processor. It promises to offer a powerful performance without sacrificing the battery life. The chipset has two quad-core chips running at 2.1GHz and 1.7GHz.
Supplementing the processor is beefy 3GB of RAM to make sure that the device can multitask easily. The company will also be introducing another variant of the 6X featuring 4gigs of RAM.

Goes on and on

As mentioned above, the Honor 6X had a battery-efficient processor. What adds to its long-lasting runtime is a massive 3,340mAh battery pack. The phone can easily last for more than 1.5 days, even if used with gaming, cellular data, etc. There are some modes as well, that can help you extend the battery life further.

Attractive price

Of course, in the end, price is make or break factor for buying a smartphone. And, you won’t be disappointed with the Honor 6X in that regard either. Even with its loaded specifications, the device is priced aggressively at Rs 12,999. In fact, it’s the cheapest smartphone in the country that comes with dual cameras at the back. Now, that makes for a sweet deal. Ain’t it? So, what are you waiting for? The device already sold successfully in the first flash sale on Feb 2nd, and the next one is scheduled on Feb 9th. Register yourselves by Feb 7th, so that you don’t miss out on this amazing smartphone.
