Sony BRAVIA smart stick will be something similar to the Chromecast.  It is a MHL dongle which will run Google TV as well as Sony’s BRAVIA apps. Though it will have same features as old Google set top boxes, it will have a QWERTY remote with voice recognition.

With “picture and picture” feature user will be able to browse and watch TV at the same time.

For pure android experience, as it is a Google TV, users will be able to download and run apps from the Google Play.

Manual for smart stick is already up on their website. This manual should answer most of the questions we have on our minds. The list of pre-installed apps can also be seen. Now the only questions that remain are the price, availability and well.. on which all TV’s will it run!

This accessory is for models from 2013 and later only! <<Now that is so unfair!!

India!! Do you want to say bye-bye to set-top boxes and welcome something like these sticks?
