Sony India Launched their new A9G & A8G BRAVIA OLED TV with X1TM Ultimate 4K HDR Picture Processor

Sony today launched their new MASTER Series A9G 4K HDR OLED television in India. This MASTER Series represents the company`s most premium line-up with their exceptional colour, contrast and clarity which matches the level of a professional-grade monitor in comparison. The television can render unmatched image quality with its deeper contrast level, absolute black and super-wide viewing angles. The Master Series A9G is will be available in 139 cm (55)” and 164 cm (65)” variant.

4K HDR Picture Processor X1™ Ultimate with Pixel Contrast Booster

The inbuild X1™ Processor can precisely control over 8 million self-illuminating pixels through its sophisticated Picture Processor engine. Complementing this processor is a Pixel Contrast Booster for more colour and contrast in bright areas. This setup makes the A9G the closest television to a professional-grade monitor, making it the perfect companion for studio-level editing. The level of versatility the chipset offers helps it easily scale SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) content to near 4K picture quality.

2.2 Channel Audio with Surface Audio+ 

Sony has introduced its Sound-from-Picture Reality Technology that positions the sound over the screen. Acoustic Surface Audio+ with two actuators and two powerful subwoofers delivers a multi-dimensional sound stage that makes for a truly immersive entertainment experience. Additionally, the TV can also work as a Centre Speaker for your home theatre system to create a coherent sound experience.

Netflix Calibrated Mode, Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos

The A9G hopes to deliver the ultimate streaming experience with its 4K quality and High Dynamic Range (HDR) support. It features a custom NETFLIX Calibrated Mode that reproduces the true video quality as imagined by the creators. It recreates this experience with an array of features such as Dolby Vision™, Dolby Atmos™ and eARC HDMI input. 

Android TV and Hands-Free Control

As expected, the A9G OLED does classify as an Android TV with its support for YouTube™, Netflix, Amazon Video, Hotstar, ALT Balaji, Zee5, Sony LIV and smart home integration. The TV can also be controlled via voice assistant like Google Assistant, Amazon Echo, Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. 

One Slate Design with Flush Wall Mounting

The slim profile of A9G allows it to easily blend within your living room and appears to be floating when mounted using the SU-WL850. Furthermore, this mount brings the best viewing position with its flexible usage and swivel functionality. 

New Slim & Premium Remote with DTH control function 

A9G observes a more rounded design with built-in voice control microphone and enhanced button layout for an even more user-friendly experience. It connects the set-top boxes and other devices via HDMI to your TV and all can be controlled via a single smart remote. Also added to the smart remote is an RF that allows users to control the TV without pointing the remote. 

A8G Series (65” and 55” models) BRAVIA OLED 4K TV  

Another addition accompanying the BRAVIA OLED 4K TV range is the A8G series. It offers a significantly enriched visual experience with unprecedented blacks, rich colours, and a wide viewing angle. It too comes with a 4K HDR Processor X1TM Extreme support that provides the ultimate 4K HDR viewing experience through technologies such as Object-based HDR remaster, Super Bit Mapping™ 4K HDR and Dual database processing. The TV also includes support for Acoustic Surface Audio technology, which enables the entire screen to act as a passive speaker emulating sound right from the screen. This allows Sound-from-Picture Reality, a perfect unification of picture and sound that conventional TVs cannot deliver. It also supports Android TV with built-in Google Assistant that offer handsfree use age.
