Sony Xperia XZ2 announced with Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB RAM and 4K HDR recording

Sony expands its portfolio with the new Sony Xperia XZ2 smartphone. This is the newest addition to the XZ series. The USP of the smartphone is its proprietary advanced Motion Eye camera technology, High-resolution audio with front-facing stereo speakers and Water resistance IP65/68.

Sony Xperia XZ2 houses a Snapdragon 845 Chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. There is  64GB UFS inbuilt storage which can be expandable via microSD card (up to 400GB).  It has a 5.7-inch full-HD+ TRILUMINOS HDR display with an X-Reality display engine, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 1080×2160 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is backed by 3180mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and smart stamina mode.

The smartphone sports a 19-megapixel Motion Eye rear camera with autofocus burst, predictive hybrid autofocus, 4K HDR recording, 960fps super slow motion, 8x digital zoom, and SteadyShot technology. On the front, Sony Xperia XZ2 is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor with a 23mm wide angle lens and SteadyShot. It is a Dual SIM smartphone and has connectivity options like  Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Miracast, Screen Mirroring, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, wireless charging, USB Type-C and Google Cast.

Sony Xperia XZ2 will be available in India from August 1 on selected Sony Center and Retail stores across India. The smartphone comes in Fluid Black color version and is priced at Rs 72,990.
