Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact with 8-inch Full HD display launched

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet CompactSony starts IFA 2014 with grand launches of Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 compact and Xperia E3 announced a new tablet Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The tablet has 8-inch (1280x720p) Triluminos display with X-Reality for Mobiles. It is loaded with 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor powered by Adreno 330 GPU.

The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact sports 8.1MP rear shooter with autofocus, Exmos RS Sensor and 2.2MP front shooter. The rear camera has 8x digital zoom, Burst mode, SteadyShot coz of video stabilisation, Object tracking – lock focus on a specific object. It has 3GB RAM with 16GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat running out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4,500mAh battery capacity on Stamina mode. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact features PS4 Remote Play for streaming games and also control games. It will be available in White and Black colours in this autumn. No word on pricing yet. It is a dustproof and waterproof tablet with IP65/68 ratings.
