Having difficulty choosing the best smartphone under the sub ₹30,000 price slot, Look no further.
Redmi K20 Pro – Flagship Experience at a bargain
The most powerful Redmi smartphone makes its way across our billboard with its snappier than ever Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Redmi K20 Pro offers an experience that is unlike any other Xiaomi device due to its low latency AMOLED display. Besides its power packer performance, the company also has treated this smartphone with a triple camera setup of 48MP sensor and telephoto lens. This setup accounts for some good-looking shots taken in and around the office during testing. There is a pop-up selfie camera that too clicks some great looking shots which were ideal for social media use. All this is topped with a 4000mAh battery which lasts for an entire day worth of use.
OnePlus 7 – Elegant Allrounder
Undoubtedly the best smartphone amongst this bunch the OnePlus has earned a rightful stop among the giants, given its flagship-level specs and performance overview. We are fans of the 6.41-inch AMOLED display which imparts good viewing experience and has multiple options to choose from. It too has that Snapdragon 855 chipset which handles anything and everything with simulating ease. The company bundles its 20W dash charger which tops the battery in under an hour. Camera performance was stunning too as the dual-lens setup paved towards some idealistic shots that were true toned and sufficiently bright given our modest lighting conditions.
Samsung Galaxy A70s – Where “A” Stands for Awesome
Next up is the Galaxy A70s which stands as the latest update to the A70 launched earlier. This time around the changes is bare minimal with the same gorgeous 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the front while a new 64MP triple camera setup on the back. The only downside is that it comes with age-old Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a Snapdragon 675 used by the older Redmi Note devices. This massive downgrade is evident as the games stutter during peak settings which ends up spoiling the entire experience. Lastly, the edge this smartphone has is that it comes with a 4500 mAh battery which shines through a whole day worth of use and can be charged via the 25W brick included in the box.
Oppo Reno 2z – Still worth it
With the recent price drop, the Oppo Reno 2Z launched a while back also seems like an ideal option to consider. The Reno series being a gaming-centric smartphone comes packs with the mightiest Helio P90 processor and 8GB of RAM. The AMOLED screen looks excellent under outdoor conditions which is something we liked in our daily use. The bezel-less design is all too hard to pass by without a second look. The company also bundles their VOOC 3.0 charger in the box which quickly charges the device in and under 50 minutes through its USB-C port at the bottom.
