UC BrowserUC Browser is a familiar name for mobile browsing and it is one of my favourite one coz it is light, fast and available on all platforms. I started using UC Browser when I had Symbian mobiles, let’s not talk about history 😛 UC Browser for Android gets three new versions are UC Browser 9.5, UC Browser Mini 9.0 and UC Browser HD 2.6. UC Browser has launched these versions keeping in mind for different hardware specs and screen sizes. Let’s discuss each one in detail –

  1. UC Browser 9.5 – Key Features of UC Browser 9.5 are it is faster and also has web application centre. Yes faster means it is 15% fast compare to earlier version while using on 3G and Wi-Fi. 2G performance is gets better and smoother in this version. Homescreen widgets gives easy access to settings, Facebook, twitter, downloads, search etc., without opening browser.  UC Browser is loaded with Web Application Centre which lets user to add certain web apps in speed dial. It doesn’t need any other app to install, update or download. It also supports regional languages and fonts on the web pages, which includes Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and more. UC Browser will install automatically these languages if you web pages contain such languages.
  2. UC Browser Mini 9.0 – As the name suggest it is lighter version among all versions of UC Browser. This browser has been designed keeping in mind smartphones which have lower specs and less storage space. UC Browser Mini 9.0 is small in size and comes with bundle of features. UC Browser mini app after installation takes around 1MB which is awesome in my view. It has improved Homepage which includes UC links, Tops Sites and User visited top websites. And ahead of this dragging and dropping lets you to make your own speed dial, and arrange icons to folder for easy access. UC Browser Mini 9.0 will be soon available on Google Play Store.
  3. UC Browser HD 2.6 – UC Browser has made this browser for Tablets and large Android screen phones. UC Browser HD 2.6 reveals aesthetic user Interface and design. It also has features like ad blocking and improved search. It is just beautiful and simple browser to use. Icons of the speed dial adapt the background colour and colour scheme, which is actually amazing. Ad blocking feature is one of the best feature which I have been waiting to come for my smartphone. It has some cool features like
  • Block all ads
  • Browser loads quickly
  • Unwanted attacks like spam are avoided

All three are fast and quick browser no doubt with enhanced features they are best browser on Android platform.
