Vivo iQOO gaming smartphone with 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855, in-display fingerprint scanner announced

Vivo’s iQOO brand brings its first gaming smartphone in China. It has 6.41-inch Full HD+  water drop notch screen with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 with liquid cooling and supports up to 12GB of RAM. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and aluminium alloy frame. It sports 12MP primary rear camera which is SONY IMX363 sensor, 13MP 120 degree ultra wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. It has a 13MP front shooter.

The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 on top of it. It packs with 4000mAh battery with 44W, an ultra-fast flash charge which will charge from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes, 85% in 30 minutes, and 100% in 45 minutes. It also has two hidden pressure sensitive buttons for gaming, 4D gaming experience with real-time recognition of the game scene that vibrates the phone. The back cover comes with two electro-optic lines that hide a colourful LED strip which lights during gaming and notification.

The Vivo iQOO will be coming in Electro Optic Blue and Lava Orange colors. It is available for order and goes on sale in China from March 6th.

  •  Base model without ultra-fast charging is priced at 2998 yuan (approx. Rs. 31,740) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant
  • 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant priced 3298 yuan (approx. Rs. 34,910)
  • 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant priced 3598 yuan (approx. Rs. 38,090)
  • 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant with black carbon fiber textured back cover priced 4298 yuan (approx. Rs. 45,500)
