Vivo V11 Pro: Top Features

A short time ago Vivo showcased its Nex smartphone with futuristic technology, which proved that the brand is going an extra mile to maintain the reputable position in the market. The all-new handset launched by Vivo is the Vivo V11 Pro which seems to be a pretty solid competitor in its segment.

The Vivo V11 Pro appears to be a good combination of hardware + software and being a mid-range device, it packs more than our expectations. So, without wasting a moment let’s know more about it.

In-Display Fingerprint Scanner

In case you folks don’t know, this technology was first introduced by the brand Vivo in the market and was mainly developed for the brand’s premium devices. You all will be surprised to know that although the V11 Pro is a mid-segment it houses an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, which is also 4thGeneration. With an In-Display Scanner, the device becomes future proof and looks more elegant. It also adds to the design as there is no separate location on the device where a Fingerprint Reader is placed. This thing is as reliable and snappy as a physical Reader and Vivo provides 3 pre-installed animations for it as well.

FullView Display with a Semi-Circular Notch

With Vivo V11 Pro the brand has gone with a new display design. Instead of a rectangular notch on the top, the device comes with a small notch. The decrease in notch size results in a better screen-to-body ratio which is great. The handset houses a massive 6.4-inch Full HD+ Sumer AMOLED Display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Display bezels are small and being an AMOLED panel, you can expect super punchy colors with deep blacks. Vivo is calling this technology Halo FullView Display.

Great Camera Hardware

Vivo V11 offers a Dual-Lens rear camera setup which these days has become a primary feature on any device. It comes equipped with a 12 MP (Aperture f/1.8) + 5 MP (f/2.4) dual setup in the rear department. In the front there is a 25 MP selfie shooter with Aperture f/2.0. This entire setup will allow a user to take portrait shots from both front and rear cameras. Like any other Vivo device, V11 Pro will be shipped with AI for Camera which further helps to capture shots with better dynamic range, saturated colors, etc.

Balanced Performance

The smartphone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 512 GPU for handling graphical tasks. Powering the handset is 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and it will be made available with 64 GB ROM. The storage is fortunately expandable through a micro-SD card up to 256 GB. The device is compatible with OTG support, which means connecting a pen drive or a card-reader won’t create a problem here. Snapdragon 660 is a well-performing chip. It delivers a perfect balance between performance and efficiency, which means a user can experience better battery backup and blazingly fast performance at the same time.

Ample Battery Capacity and Other Miscellaneous features

Keeping the device awake is a 3400 mAh battery which comes coupled with Dual-Engine Fast-Charging technology. The Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology delivers fast charging times compared to the traditional charging tech. The device packs all essential connectivity features including Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, etc. The handset comes with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device has a slim profile with a measurement of 7.9 mm in thickness and 156 grams in weight.
