The V7+ brings bezel-less display in the mid-range!
While Chinese brand Vivo doesn’t launch too many devices in the Indian market, each of its devices revolutionise the smartphone segment. While the Vivo V5 and V5 Plus pushed the boundaries of the selfie capabilities, its latest device isn’t just upping the selfie game but is also bringing a new design language. You see, 2017 has been a year of phones offering as much screen as possible on the front, popularly dubbed as bezel-less displays. But the fact is that most of these devices are available in the super-premium segment priced above Rs 30k. Vivo is changing that by offering a FullVision display at Rs 21,990. That’s why we decided to take a closer look at the design of the Vivo V7+.
Built with a unibody metal design, the Vivo V7+ looks like a high-end smartphone. The construction also makes it feel solid along with giving a good in-hand feel. The bezel-less design, which Vivo brands as a FullVision display ensures that the smartphone packs in a large display panel without being unwieldy. In fact, the V7+ sports a large 5.99-inch display in a form factor of a 5.5-inch smartphone. To recap, the Vivo V7+ is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of expandable memory. As mentioned above, the V7+ is also an ideal choice for selfie enthusiasts, and that’s because it flaunts an impressive 24MP sensor at the fascia. At the back, it has a 16MP snapper with an LED flash. Running Android Nougat, the phone sips juice from a 3,225mAh battery. The phone also supports the usual connectivity options, including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFI and GPS.
