Vivo V9 Pro Launched in India with a Snapdragon 660 SoC

Vivo is day by day increasing its presence in the Indian market. The brand has recently launched its Vivo V11 smartphone in India and today they’ve revealed their new Vivo V9 Pro smartphone. It is the latest budget performance smartphone from the brand and will compete against the likes of Mi A2 and Moto One Power. So without making any delay let’s check out more about its specifications and pricing in the Indian market.

Vivo V9 Pro falls under sub 20K budget category and comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660(64 bit) Octa-Core processor. The handset offers an Adreno 512 GPU for gaming. Vivo V9 Pro will be provided in only one variant: 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and luckily the storage is expandable via micro-SD card up to 256GB’s. The device runs on Vivo’s custom FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device measures slim at 7.89mm and weighs around 150 grams.

In the front, it sports a 6.3(inch) Full HD+ IPS LCD Display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Vivo V9 Pro houses a 13MP+2MP Dual-Camera setup in the rear with PDAF, Aperture f/2.0 on the main sensor. In the front, a 16MP selfie shooter with Aperture f/2.0 is provided. The smartphone has a rectangular notch instead of Vivo’s newly introduced Halo View tech. Powering the device is a 3260mAh battery. The handset is priced at INR 19,990 but on Amazon Festive season sale one can grab it for INR 17,990.
