Vivo Xplay 3S – World’s first 2K Display Android Smartphone with Fingerprint Sensor

Vivo Xplay 3SVivo has got the formula which every smartphone maker is looking to make, it is 2K Display on Vivo Xplay 3S. Vivo Xplay 3S has massive 6-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixels which is a 2k resolution at 490ppi. Trend has been set by Vivo but other giants like Samsung and HTC are trying to launch 2K phones in the coming year. Other than 2K display the phone comes with two dedicated audio chips inside named as ESS Technology’s ES9018 DAC and the Texas Instruments’ OPA2604 in addition phone has DTS software for good quality sound effects in earpiece.

For photography Vivo has given 13-megapixel rear camera which shoots with f/1.8 aperture and in front it has 5-megapixel camera with fingerprint scanner. Vivo is also giving Photo+ camera app which has cloud storage and few cool features. Vivo Xplay 3S runs on OS which is actually Android based called Vivo Funtouch, has the usual boatload of features like Gestures, a timeline and a lot more.

Vivo Xplay 3S has metallic bezels, with onboard storage of 32GB powered by 3,200mAh battery. It runs on 3GB RAM which make phone work faster and smoother. The streaming service offers 400 movies at 1080p and 1000+ movies 720p movies, but no QHD movies yet. Chinese ecommerce site Tmall started pre-orders Vivo Xplay 3S at Chinese Yuan 3,498 ($580), no word yet on global launch.
