Vivo Y12 Launched: Triple Camera Setup with a Massive Battery!

Vivo just took the drapes off their Y12 smartphone in India. This new device represents their youth-oriented Y-series that comes at a budget price and rivals some important contenders at this price bracket.

It sports an HD+ (720×1544 px) Halo Full View display that comes with a 19.3:3 aspect ratio. Its powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with a 4GB RAM. The highlight includes an AI-driven triple camera setup at the rear comprising of a 13MP+8MP+2MP sensor with an 8MP selfie camera. Vivo provides a host of camera features such as Time-Lapse, Live Photos, HDR, Portrait Mode, Panorama, and Super Wide-Angle Shots, Portrait Bokeh, AI Face Beauty and PDAF detection among others. It features a full-fledged Ultra Gaming Mode to pump up few frames for smooth gameplay.

Powering this device is a 5,000mAh battery that is more than adequate to get it through an entire day worth of usage. Additional features include connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB port with USB OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo Y12 price is set at Rs. 12,490 for the 4GB+32GB storage configuration. The device will be available for purchase across Vivo`s entire offline network in India. It will come in two colour variants named Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red.
